TIP Even though there is no physical geometry, a cosmetic weld is
capable of contributing to the mass calculations if you apply an Area value
in the dialog box.
Creating Weldment Drawings
The purpose of a weldment environment is to accommodate the needs of the
production workflow. Documenting the steps is also important. Inventor can
create drawing views of the stages of the weldment.
1. Make certain that the 2013 Essentials project file is active, and then
create a new drawing using the ISO.idw template under the Metric
folder under Templates in the New File dialog.
