View Representations in a Part
In Chapter 8, “Advanced Assembly and Engineering Tools,” you will use view
representations to save different configurations for the way an assembly appears.
In a part file, you can do the same thing to quickly switch between preselected
color or texture options.
1. Make certain that the 2013 Essentials project file is active, and then
open c07-18.ipt from the Parts\Chapter​7 folder.
2. Expand the View options in the browser, and confirm that a view rep-
resentation called Aqua is the active version.
3. Switch between the other saved options to see the options.
