Building a Hole Pattern
In Chapter 3, there were exercises for placing holes on a sketch that are concentric
to a curved face or edge. In this section, you'll explore an additional technique for
placing holes, namely, a linear hole , and then you will use the rectangular pattern
to replicate it. This is a common need on things such as mounting plates that need
to attach to several components.
