The value of the mass appears, but it will likely be listed as N/A because
the part's Mass properties are out-of-date. To update them, you need to
open the part file and update it.

6. Right-click one of the drawing views on the drawing sheet or in the
browser, and select Open from the context menu.

7. When the part file opens, right-click the Part icon at the top of the
Browser, and select iProperties. This opens the c06-09.ipt iProperties
dialog box.

8. Click the Physical tab, and click the Update button.

9. Return to the drawing to see the results.

10. Close both the drawing and the part file without saving the changes.

Leader Text
You can use the Text tool to place text in a rectangular space on the drawing.
The Leader Text tool automatically places the text at the end of a leader.

1. Verify that the 2013 Essentials project file is active, and then open
c06-11.idw from the Drawings\Chapter​6 folder.

2. You can find the Leader Text tool on the marking menu. You can also
find it in the Text panel on the Annotate tab. Start the Leader Text tool.

3. Click the top machined surface of the part, and then click a second
point to locate where the text will be generated.
You can continue to click points to string the leader through.

4. Right-click and click Continue from the context menu to open the
Format Text dialog box.

5. Type in anything you like, and then click OK to generate the text.
