Using Advanced Drawing Annotation Tools
In Chapter 2, I covered the elements of dimensioning that will make up the bulk
of typical detailing. Many other tools are necessary to make a complete drawing.
The next group of exercises will focus on these tools.

In Chapter 5, you augmented a title block to include the values of the part's Mass
properties. You can add these values to annotation text as well.
1. Verify that the 2013 Essentials project file is active, and then open
c06-10.idw from the Drawings\Chapter​6 folder.
2. Just above the title block is a line of text. Double-click the text to open
the Format Text dialog box.
3. In the Format Text dialog box, change the Type drop-down to Physical
Properties—Model and the Property drop-down to Mass.
4. Click the Add Text Parameters button to add the model property to the
text-editing window below.
5. Click OK to update the text.
