Activating Your New Theme
You can install as many themes as your web server will hold (though you'll certainly want to leave
more room for your content than your themes), but only one theme can appear on your site at a
time.
To activate any installed theme on your site:
1.
Log in to WordPress.
2.
Click on Appearance.
3.
Click Themes. The Manage Themes page opens (see Figure 12.5). Your current theme will be at
the top, followed by all your other installed themes.
4.
Click Activate under the theme you want to use.

This theme now becomes the Current Theme in the window. If you click Visit Site at the top of the
page, the new theme should appear.
Many themes have their own settings pages that allow you to add widgets and customize your
themes further. We cover changing settings for one popular theme in Chapter 14.
