1. Find an image on the Web that you want to use. You might want to leave the page with the
image open in one web page while you use a different web page to go to the Administration
area of your blog and insert the image into your post.
2. While creating or editing a post, click the Add an Image button. The Add an Image dialog box
opens. It has three tabs: From Computer, From URL, and Media Library. The first tab, From
Computer, is selected by default.
3. Click the From URL tab. The contents of the dialog box change to show the title, Add Media File
from URL, as shown in Figure 9.8.

from around the Web.
4. Enter the URL (web address) of the image. You can copy and paste this by right-clicking on the
image in the web page where it lives. (On a Mac, that's Control-click.) When you right-click, a
context-sensitive menu appears. Choose the Copy Image URL option from the context-sensitive
menu.
When you enter the URL, WordPress verifies it for you and alerts you if there are problems.
5. Enter a title, caption, and URL for the image, as described previously in the section, “Uploading
an Image to the Media Library.”
