3.10 Lessons
Now that you have learned about the theory, the following examples will show
you how flexible layouts are used. First, we will create a flexible banner with Edge
Animate's native tools. Then we will look at the Edge Commons extension to
create different layouts for different sizes.
3.10.1 Flexible Banners for Different Resolutions
In this step-by-step sample project, we will create a simple banner with a
flexible layout so that its content will display well in various resolutions, from
smartphones to desktop monitors. All text must always be visible and not scaled.
The finished banner can then be integrated into any website.
The banner should only be flexible in its width. The height should be fixed, as
is usually the case in actual projects. We will define the minimum width as 600
px and the maximum width as 1200 px. The result should look as follows:
