In-Depth Information
Contrast adjusts the color contrast.
Saturate allows you to adjust color saturation.
Sepia creates a yellowish-brown coloration. This creates an effect typical of
old photographs.
Grayscale reduces the color to pure gray tones at 100%.
Blur creates a blur effect in which the element's pixels protrude out from the
element.
Unlike Edge Animate's box-shadow property in the Shadow section (see
section 3.4.6), the CSS shadow filter is a drop shadow, meaning it can only work
on the outside of the element. Due to compatibility issues for the CSS filters
described above, the box-shadow property should be used whenever possible.
3.4.8 Clipping
All elements used in Edge Animate can be clipped. In most cases, this is only
useful for images. If you want to clip an element, you first have to activate Clip-
ping in the Clip section of the Property panel by clicking the button to the right
of the Clip section to display the clip properties.
Once Clipping is active, you can set separate values for the left, top, right and
bottom edges. All values are pixel values relative to the coordinate origin; in
other words, the upper left corner of the element. These clip properties can be
animated.
