A simple character, embellished with
shadows
This technique can also be used to create a complete scene with foreground
and background. The following illustration is such a scene, consisting solely of
basic shapes and shadows, without the use of any additional images. Of course,
you should always keep an eye on browser performance with such experiments
because scenes can become very complex and shadows need more computing
power than flat surfaces. All shadow properties can be animated, but once they
are set, shadow properties can no longer be changed on the Timeline.
