point make for some of the best surfing on the planet. It's a great place to learn too.

You can leave any number of west coast towns for excellent deep-water expeditions, in-
cluding a trip to the pristine waters near Isla Desecheo and the illusive Isla Mona.
ADVENTURE
The lonely Cabo Rojo point is a great place for a short cycling tour, but even if you arrive
by car a scramble up the lighthouse-crowned point overlooking the Caribbean is heart-ra-
cing.
