Kayaking on Lago Dos Bocas

Hidden away in the lush vegetation of the central mountains, the calm waters of Lago
Dos Bocas allow an experience for kayakers that's entire ly more serene than bobbing along
on the waves of the open sea. You'll first spy the lake along Rte 143 near the mountain town
of Utuado, where travelers can rent boats from little lakeside restaurants. It's an ideal situ-
ation - after you work up an appetite with a few hours of paddling, enjoy a feast of inex-
pensive dishes of freshly caught fish from the lake.
