an outstanding eatery. With 36 tables arranged around a mosquito-free screened-in porch,

palms. The adjacent poolside bar and gazebo hosts a popular happy hour and can conjure
up a formidable mojito.
Entertainment
The island's nightlife revolves around its many funky bars and restaurants.
Gretchen's Da Bar BAR
( 3pm-midnight Sun-Thu, to 2am Fri & Sat; ) Slink past the 'wanted dead or
alive' roster of patrons with delinquent bar tabs and order a whipped-cream-topped bush-
wacker or a piña colada blushing sherbert pink with grenadine. There's always something
happening at this dockside hot spot, whether it's soulful karaoke on weekends, tourists
playing Wii bowling while waiting for the ferry, an open mic poetry performance or just
a gaggle of locals chowing down with sushi rolls ($8 to $18) from the in-house Juanita
Bananas restaurant.
