outfit has glass-bottomed catamarans that are in high demand, so book early. All kinds of
day trips to the La Cordillera islands are offered, and it even does quick runs over to St
Thomas. One of the catamarans has a water slide that launches you right into the ocean.

daily tours as other operators, with all-you-can-eat salad bars and snorkeling equipment
provided for reasonable prices.
SEEING THE BIOLUMINESCENT LAGOON
Not everyone counts themselves a kayaker, but there are two other options for wit-
nessing the bioluminescence of Fajardo's Laguna Grande .
» Eco-Action Tours ( www.ecoactiontours.com ) and Bio Island
( www.bioislandpr.com ) do electric boat trips for $45 to $50 per person.
» The night tours at Las Cabezas de San Juan ( Click here ) visit the grounds by
foot and tram and then spend time down at the lagoon.
Kayaking
This is absolutely the most entrancing way to see Fajardo's bioluminescent attractions -
and the most environmentally sound as well. Swimming has been banned in the bay since
2007. Many companies don't have excursions on Sunday nights.
Yokahú Kayaks KAYAKING
( www.yokahukayaks.com ; bay tour $45) This operator provides equipment, and the
guides are very professional. Children under six years of age aren't allowed on the night
trips, which generally last two hours.
