15 Knots KITESURFING

all levels.
Also in Isla Verde, side by side on the beach near the El San Juan Hotel, Archie's
Jet Ski Rental ( 787-643-4510) and Watersports 4U ( 939-969-4510;
www.parasailpuertorico.com ) can rent you pretty much anything that floats: banana
boats, wave runners, kayaks ($20 to $30 per hour), small catamarans (with captain; $60 to
$70 per hour), jet skis, water skis and kneeboards. Or get airborne with some parasailing
($60 per person).
Cycling
Forget the notorious traffic jams; cycling in San Juan can actually be good fun, as long
as you know where to go. In fact, it is perfectly feasible to work your way along the safe
coastline from Old San Juan out as far as Carolina and the bike paths of Piñones.
Rent the Bicycle CYCLING

cruiser bikes for $27 per day, including lock and helmet. Children's bike seats are available
for $5. They'll bring a bike to you anywhere in San Juan, or you can stop by the shop at
Pier 6.
