upper- and lower-level floorplans for a Superliner coach.
Superliner Coaches
There are minor variations in the way these cars are laid out, but
a typical Superliner coach can accommodate 70 or more pas-
sengers. Most of the seating is on the upper level, although many
of the coaches have seats on the lower level usually reserved for
disabled or elderly passengers who would have trouble climbing
the narrow stairway. There is plenty of room for baggage. Stash
your big suitcases in the large storage racks near the lower-level
entrance to the car. Don't worry about leaving your big bags here.
Just be sure that each one is clearly identified so someone with a
similar-looking piece doesn't take yours by mistake. There is also
a luggage rack above the seats running the full length of the car.
This is the place for smaller bags and for other items you'll want
close by when you're in your seat.
The coach seats are wide and comfortable. Most will recline
as much as 35 degrees, and each comes with a fold-out leg rest.
