Providing Visual Cues
To help the audience follow your story, you can offer clear visual cues or signposts, or
even provide an audio signal for getting your audience's attention. You might use a
recurring element or theme as a way to achieve some rhythm—such as a certain
typeface, a poignant line, a recurring shape, a color, a particular use of space, and so
on. It will tie your story together and provide unity to the composition if you provide
meaningful cues throughout.
