But before you pop open the champagne, ask yourself whether this theory has
a fair predictive power. i believe that in most cases it does. any signs of bottlenecks
should be seen as the actual opportunity and not a limitation. a bottleneck is what
stands between supply and demand; a bottleneck is destined to be removed, if not by
you, then by somebody else, and perhaps using a different channel at the same time.

this creates a number of fantastic questions on why this is, if it is, a positive
phenomena and what actions to take from it. the answers depend heavily on the
metric you look at and on the organization and industry.
such questions might lead you to conclude that there is an unjustified demand
for certain keywords, such as the four or five outliers in the dataset with the fat head
tendency, shown in Figure 13.9. this could be due to specific circumstances, such as
overly aggressive seo optimization, on those keywords in particular.
