Penn State in 1999, he was employed as a
Research Fellow at the Becton Dickinson
Research Center, Research Triangle Park, North
Carolina from 1988 and as a Research Scientist
at the Du Pont Experimental Station Wilming-
ton, Delaware from 1980. He received a PhD in
Chemistry at Indiana University in 1979 where
he also held a National Aeronautics and Space
Administration
