ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Mary he was with NASA Langley Research
Center, where he was awarded a National
Research Council Fellowship. Earlier, he was
with the National Aeronautical Laboratory,
India and the Indian Institute of Technology,
Madras, India.
His research interests are in modelling and
simulation of aero-servo-elasticity and smart
structures with applications to robotics, aircraft
and energy systems. His topics Biomimetic
Robotics and Dynamics of Smart Structures were
published in 2009 and 2011 respectively.
Ranjan Vepa is a Lecturer with the School of
Engineering and Material Science at Queen Mary,
University of London. Prior to joining Queen
