Some Flash sites are designed
to make their windows auto-
matically fill the screen. Unless
the site is programmed to
scale up when it does this, the
result on an Apple Cinema
Display or the like is to fill the
browser window with whatever
was placed in the background
while the active portfolio
section stays at its fixed size.
The result: wasted space and
an irritated viewer, who can't
see anything else on his
computer while the portfolio
window is active.
To avoid this, set the window
to open to the exact pixel
dimensions of your design.
Don't lock the screen, and
provide the full-screen view as
an opt-in choice.
