initially by some catchy words to summarize the objectives, and then through spe-
cific strategies that can be linked to particular policies, as shown in Table 7.3 . How-
ever, once these information, data-gathering and strategy recommendation phases
have been carried out, the report, like those for other EcoDistrict projects, was given
to the EcoDistrict Steering Committee composed of members from the community
being studied. This is the group that will make decisions about what to implement,
although guidance will be provided by EcoDistrict personnel. An important element
in the subsequent EcoDistrict development process is a follow-up stage, namely the
