I gave him $1 US and told him that I didn't have any Mauritanian currency. He refused the
US currency and gave it back to me. As I started to reassemble my bike, I noticed that my
principle tool (a set of foldable allen keys) was missing for without it, I couldn't attach my
derailleurorreassemblemyhandlebars.Ibeganshoutingthatsomeonestolemytoolwhich
drew the security guards' attention. The porter freaked out and from his pocket quickly re-
turned it. I managed to put the bike back together in 15 minutes and left the airport.
