from a hut at the end of the last village. Since I was so far ahead to bother to return to
see what he wanted, I assumed he simply wanted to say hello so I just waved at him. In
hindsight, perhaps he was the immigration/border crossing guard. It dawned on me that I
arrived into Guinea without a Senegalese immigration exit stamp in my passport. I hoped
that it would be over-looked when I arrived at my first Guinean checkpoint.
