Possible Problem
Solution
RIP not properly
configured on the
router
Use the
show running-config
privileged exec command to
view the router configuration. Make sure that RIP is
configured on the router. If RIP is not configured, configure
it.

Check the configuration to see whether there are
network
statements for each of the networks that should be advertised
in RIP updates. If they are missing, add them to the
configuration.
