As shown in Figure 5.43a, enter face editing mode (
D
), select the faces on
the model's right side, and
Delete
them.

Now we need to mirror the torso from her left to her right. To do this, go
to
Modify
>
Mirroring
>
Mirror Geometry
( Figure 5.44 ) and open the
options
window.
The options for mirroring geometry, seen in Figure 5.45, are quite simple.
In
Mirror From Axis
, you specify the axis that dictates which way you want the
model to be mirrored. In this case, across the X axis.
The
Tolerance
value indicates how much of the model to merge when
mirroring. It uses the distance from the center of the grid as a starting point.
Enable Symmetry
switches on the ability for you to work on just one
side of the model with all operations being automatically applied to the
opposite side.

At this stage, we can use the default values, so click
Mirror
and you should
end up with a complete torso like the one in Figure 5.43c.
