Begin by adjusting the neck's topology.
We are going to cut this muscle into the model, but to do this we will need to
rework the whole neck topology.
Start by dividing the polygons running up the side of her neck (Figure
8.46b ).
Now turn these triangles back into quads, but delete the horizontal
edges this time, meaning the quads run up her neck rather than around
it (Figure 8.46d).
Move to the front of the neck now and continue the cuts, which ran from
the head. Cut all the way down to her clavicle.
When done, add another Cut , this time across the middle of the model
( Figure 8.47a ).
N e x t , Merge the lower vertices of these cuts to the ones on either side to
complete the edge loop (Figure 8.47b).
