Collapsing the previous edge ring left us with a triangle besides the nose.
To remove this, create a Cut from the triangle across the bridge of the
nose ( Figure 8.27c ).
Finally, collapse the resulting triangle shown in Figure 8.27d.
The n-gon on the nostril is not ideal. We cannot remove it without
adding unwanted geometry somewhere else, so for now we will simply
reposition it.
Select the upper edge of the n-gon, and Merge it ( Figure 8.28a ).
N e x t , Delete the upper edge of the remaining triangle. This now places
the n-gon in a much better and less noticeable place.
With those tweaks and i xes out of the way, let's get back to the eyes and work
on the brow area.
