cut around her hips. This will follow the natural muscles of the body and give
us great polygon l ow for when she is posed and animated.
Starting at the front of her hips, select a series of edges moving over her
hips and up her back (Figure 6.29).
Now press X t o Cut these edges, giving you a nice line around her torso
( Figure 6.30 a).
Creating such a long cut around her body will leave you with numerous
triangles and n-gons to deal with, so let's address those next and get them
out of the way.
