help us build in the clavicle.
In Figure 6.17 , you can see the i ve-sided polygons in the center of her
chest. First, we will create a Cut across these ( Figure 6.17 b).
Next, select the three horizontal edges (Figure 6.17c), starting at the new
cut and ending in the middle of her neck.
Cut these to divide the polygons (press X ).
Next, create another Cut to connect the new cuts with the ones left over
from the stomach work (Figure 6.17e).
Finally, Merge these and the central edge to close the triangles.
With that area i xed, we next need to add an extra edge loop running across
her upper chest and onto her shoulder.
As illustrated in Figure 6.18b, select the edges moving across her upper
torso and onto her shoulder .
Press X t o Cut them.
This gives us two triangles to deal with next. Select the edges shown in
Figure 6.18d and Merge them. This will leave you with an n-gon on the
