Between the cooking school and the restaurant, there's enough stuff to take in for both
the eyes and mouth. Both traditional and modern Lao cuisine comes alive - try one of the
sampling platters to, you know, sample. Because they're used to working with foreigners
learning Lao food, they've gotten pretty good at explaining the ingredients and how to eat
everything (hint: it's not as difficult as it sounds!).
Note, that while most mains are reasonably priced, you might want to consider splurging

a modern gastronome would be paying for a set menu of local delights most anywhere else
