Originally built in 1796 and rebuilt in 1821, it was spared by the Haw invasion forces be-
cause it was too beautiful to damage. Check out the longboats - although 20-25 meters
long, I doubt they'll sail again. It's also spelled Wat Mai Suwannaphumaham - you can see
that 'Wat Mai' is the more popular name.
