While this street has plenty of guesthouses (and reasonably priced ones at that), this is the
one I stayed at, so I can recommend it. Hot water shower, powerful ceiling fan, Western
throne, but no TV or air-con. We paid 70,000 kip a night during the low (rainy) season -
expect it to cost 30-40% more during the high (dry) season.

There are
plenty
of other guesthouses around - just pop your head into any of them
and ask to see a room.
