TUTORIAL 3
In this tutorial, you will generate the drawing of Oldham coupling assembly created in the
previous chapter.
Creating the assembly drawing
1.
Open the Main_assembly.prt file.
2.
Click
Applications > Design > Drafting
.
3.
On the
Sheet
dialog, select
Standard Size
.
4.
Set
Size
to
A3 -297 x 420
.
5.
Set
Scale
to
1:2
.
6.
Under the
Settings
section, check
Always Start View Creation
.
7.
Select
Base View command
.
8.
Click
OK
.
9.
On the
Base View
dialog, under the
Model View
section, select
Model View to
Use
>
Isometric
.
10.
Under the
Scale
section, select
Scale > 1:2
.
11.
Click on the left side of the drawing sheet.
12.
Click
Close
on the
Projected View
dialog.
Generating the Exploded View
1.
On the ribbon, click
Home > View > Base View
.
2.
On the
Base View
dialog, select
Model View to Use >Trimetric
.
3.
Click on the right side of the drawing sheet.
4.
Click
Close
.
