Calculated trajectories for fluid velocities of 0.1 mm/s and 1 mm/s are shown in
Figure 9.13, for a 1-mm radius fiber and 1- μ m Dynal beads. The larger the carrier
fluid velocity, the less the probability of capture by the rod.
