Sandwiching Negatives
Creative compositing with blend modes
This technique was originally created by combining two negatives or slides
into the i lm carrier of the enlarger and printing them together onto one
sheet of paper as a single image. This technique was often used to create a
juxaposition of image elements within a single image. Utilizing blend modes
with two digital images combined into one document, creative interpretation
becomes almost limitless! Experiment further by combining techniques.
