In-Depth Information
Bridge allows you to easily organize, browse, locate, and view all your creative
assets providing centralized access to image i les and XMP metadata with a
multitude of tagging and searching capabilities. As a stand-alone application,
Bridge synchronizes i les for the entire Adobe Creative Suite, and allows you
to see larger thumbnails of i les, and even video, with a plethora of options. In
previous versions, Bridge was sometimes painfully slow but CS4 has updated
Bridge with a speed boost, a new exciting Review Mode, and many other cool
features.
Interface
Use the Folders panel to navigate through your computer's internal and external
hard drives, as well as to view images visually as scalable thumbnails. To see
larger previews, click an image and it will appear in the Preview panel (or press
the keyboard spacebar to see a full-screen preview. Press the spacebar again to
return to the thumbnail).
Vertical Filmstrip View

such as the DNG i les previously exported for the burned backup.
Automatically Launch Bridge
Bridge can now be set to automatically launch in the background during
system login so that it is instantly available when needed. To set this
preference, go to Bridge > Preferences > Advanced
and check “Start Bridge at Login”.
