The ''1st 5 Year Regional Innovation Plan'' was prepared by Daejeon Metro-
politan City in (
2004
). One of the major jobs in the plan was how to select strategic
industries and how to support them under the various domestic and international
laws.
Three key elements that were mentioned in
Sect. 3
in this chapter were fully
considered in the selection of strategic industries, and eight measures were applied
in the selection process.
