600 atm. Dipyramidal crystals with [100] and [110] faces grow under these condi-
tions with a growth rate of 0.08 mm/day. The crystals exhibit piezoelectric effect
like quartz. The crystals are colorless, transparent. The crystals doped with Mn

show good luminescence.
