growth in a low-carbon steel or mild steel liner or noble metal or copper liner. The
pressure inside the liner is counterbalanced with pressure between the liner outer
wall and inner wall of the autoclave. A required amount of the nutrient material and
the solvent is introduced into the liner with a definite percent fill. Then the pressure
inside the autoclave is calculated through PVT relations. The modified Bridgman
vessels are commercially used for crystal growth and they are further modified to
grow very large single crystals of industrial importance [40] . Sealing is the most
important aspect in these autoclaves, and it consumes much time and effort in the
initial runs.
