zircons, monazites and other accessory minerals containing significant REE amounts
are quite resistant to reagents used in the decomposition of the samples. Because of
this, some amounts of their microparticles are often not fully decomposed, respec-
tively, the REE they contain are not turning into the analyzed solutions and this leads
to underdetermination of these elements in the analyzed rocks.
