The buses are not dedicated Heathrow - London buses, they are long distances buses that
have Heathrow as their first/last stop outside London.
Journey time will vary according to traffic conditions, but will normally be between 45 and
75 minutes depending on traffic conditions.
Going into London there is routinely traffic congestion Mondays to Fridays between 07:00
and 10:00 and between 16:00 and 19:00 and on Sundays from mid afternoon to mid-even-
ing.
Going towards Heathrow there is routinely traffic congestion Mondays to Fridays between
16:00 and 19:00.
National Express is the only direct connection between Heathrow and Heathrow airports
and runs 100 services a day. They also operate a Hotel Hoppa which serves 21 hotels
around Heathrow Airport for just £4 each way door to door, from all terminals and the Cen-
tral Bus Station.

You will save yourself time by purchasing tickets in advance. Tickets ordered online are
e-tickets, emailed to your inbox immediately after ordering.
You have to stipulate a specific transfer time reserving you a seat. If your flight is late or
early, you can travel on other schedules but the seat is not reserved. At non-airport loca-
tions, you have to turn up for the departure on your ticket.

At Heathrow, buses depart from Heathrow Central Coach Station; allow 10 minutes from
here to transfer to Terminals 1 and 3 by foot. The route between the bus station is luggage
