Taxis are readily available at the airport. Just follow the signs.
A taxi from Heathrow to central London will cost £70-100. You may wish to consider tak-
ing a taxi if you have a lot of baggage or small children. Alternatively catch public transport
into the city center and then catch a taxi. There are two types of taxis: Black cabs (these can
be hailed on a street or at a taxi rank) and licensed mini cabs (these are typically cheaper -
but must be booked in advance over the phone or on the web).
