and quadrupedal heteropodous
Characteristic: Batrachichnus,
Amphisauropus, Ichniotherium,
Limnopus, Dimetropus,
Pseudobradypus, Hylopus, Dromillopus,
Cursipes, Chirotherium, Isochirotherium,
Brachychirotherium, Synaptichnium
Accessory: Characichnos,
Capitosauroides, Scoyenia, Taenidium,
Thin, parallel-laminated or ripple
cross-laminated sandstone or siltstone
interbedded with mudstone, common
mud cracks, and raindrop imprints.
Typically occurring on distal crevasse-
splay deposits, also present in channel-fill
deposits and on top of channel bars.

tracks. Accessory trace-fossil types are
arthropod trackways, meniscate burrows,
simple trails, horizontal burrows, bilobed
burrows/trails, trough-like reliefs, and
