exercise 1.7: Create and use Bookmarks
If you are continuing from the previous exercise, you can skip to step 3.
Otherwise, if you haven't already done so, go to the topic's web page at www
.sybex.com/go/infraworksessentials and download the files for Chapter 1.
Unzip the files to the correct location on your hard drive according to the
instructions in the introduction.
1. If it is not already open, launch InfraWorks.
2. On the Start Page, click Open and browse to C:\InfraWorks
Essentials\Chapter 01\ . Click Ch01 San Francisco City.sqlite
and click Open.
3. On the Quick Access Toolbar, click Bookmarks to open the
Bookmarks panel.
4. On the Bookmarks panel, click City View.
5. If the Data Sources panel is not visible, click Data Sources on the
Manage toolbar.
6. On the Data Sources panel, under Landmarks, right-click POFA and
click Select Features.
7. On the Select toolbar, click Zoom to Selected. Roll the mouse wheel
back a bit to zoom out to a point where the Palace of Fine Arts is vis-
ible (as shown previously in Figure 1.18).
