Applying other types of Animations
In addition to the camera path animation, you can use other types of animation
to spruce up your storyboard. They are found in the drop-down list just to the
right of the one for camera path animations, as shown in FigureĀ 6.26.

The types are as follows:
Crane Animation With this animation, the camera moves up and away from
its original location or down and toward a desired location. It combines vertical
movement, horizontal movement, and tilt all in one fluid motion.
Look Around Animation This animation turns and/or tilts the camera while
keeping its location constant. You specify the mount of motion by providing an
angular value for left-right and up-down motion.
orbit Animation This animation rotates the camera around a focal point.
You specify the amount of motion by providing an angular value for left-right
and up-down motion.
Pan and Zoom Animation This animation combines a left-right and up-
down movement of the camera, along with a zoom function. The camera stays
pointed in a constant direction while moving and panning.
recorded walk With this animation, you simply click Start Recording and then
navigate the model manually. As though you are holding the video camera as you
navigate, this command simply records what you see until you click Stop Recording.
still Motion This animation will hold a specified view for a given amount
of time.
