In-Depth Information
12. Continue restoring bookmarks and adding keyframes until you have
added eight keyframes.
Of course, if this were your own project, you wouldn't have pre-
made bookmarks available. You would navigate the model to create
your own keyframe views.
13. Click Play The Current Storyboard when you are finished.
You can see the completed version of this storyboard by viewing
the Wind Farm Visibility - Complete Storyboard that already exists
in this model. You may need to click the Storyboard Library icon at
the top right of the Storyboard panel to see a list of storyboards and
select Wind Farm Visibility - Complete.
The storyboard should show a view of the wind farm as you travel
through the town of Bimsville. The travel speed may seem a bit fast,
and you may notice a location where your viewpoint dips below the
terrain. You'll look at improving the animation in the next exercise.
exercise 6.7: edit Your Camera Path Animation
In this exercise you are going to edit the camera path animation from the previ-
ous exercise so that it runs a bit slower and eliminates the spot where the cam-
era view dips underground.
If you are continuing from the previous exercise, you can skip to step 3.
Otherwise, if you haven't already done so, go to the topic's web page at www.sybex
.com/go/infraworksessentials and download the files for Chapter 6. Unzip the
files to the correct location on your hard drive according to the instructions in
the introduction.
1. If it is not already open, launch InfraWorks.
2. On the Start Page, click Open and browse to C:\InfraWorks Essentials\
Chapter 06\ . Click Ch06 Bimsville Bypass.sqlite and click Open.
3. In the top-right corner of your screen, click the Proposals drop-down
list and select Ex_6_4_to_6_8.
4. If the Presentation toolbar is not visible, click the Presentation icon
on the main toolbar.
5. On the Presentation toolbar, click Storyboard Creator.
6. In the Storyboard panel, click Show Storyboard Library in the upper-
right corner.
