Applying Camera Path Animations
The primary feature of a storyboard is the camera path animation. This type of
animation simulates a video camera traveling along a given path, recording its
view of the model from a continuously changing perspective. There are three
ways that camera paths can be generated in InfraWorks; they can be derived
from a design road (available only with Roadway Design for InfraWorks 360),
imported from a file, or generated using keyframes. The keyframe method is the
one that you will study and practice in this chapter.
Once you have opened the Storyboard panel and created a new storyboard,
you create a camera path animation by expanding the Camera Path Animation
drop-down and selecting Add Camera Path Animation, as shown in FigureĀ 6.22.
When you add a new camera path animation, InfraWorks will automatically add
a keyframe that matches your current view.
