floor in a facade style
Once you have several floors defined, you then create a block , which is a
vertical arrangement of floors. The same coding procedure used for the floor
arrangement applies here except that in this case, you're using floor names
instead of cell names. You can apply the same techniques of using plus signs
and parentheses to group and repeat floors.
The next step in the progression is a block sequence , which, as you might
guess, is a sequence of blocks arranged left to right. A facade style does not
require multiple blocks, but the capability is there if you need it. Then, the final
step in the progression is the layout . A layout contains one variation of a block
sequence, and a facade style can have multiple layouts.
exercise 5.7: Create a facade style
In this exercise you are going to create a facade style and apply it to the large
building near the entrance of the industrial park.
If you are continuing from the previous exercise, you can skip to step 3.
Otherwise, if you haven't already done so, go to the topic's web page at www

Unzip the files to the correct location on your hard drive according to the
instructions in the introduction.
1. If it is not already open, launch InfraWorks.
2. On the Start Page, click Open and browse to C:\InfraWorks Essentials\
Chapter 05\ . Click Ch05 Bimsville Bypass.sqlite and click Open.
