fIgureĀ 5.26 Cells used to build a facade style
A collection of cells is called a theme , and when you are configuring a facade
style, you must select a theme to determine which cells you can choose from.
The cells within a theme are chosen based on a certain style of architecture.
Cells can be displayed as 2D images or as detailed 3D models of building parts,
depending on which options you use.
The next step in building a facade style is configuring a floor . A floor is an
arrangement of cells in a specific pattern. You use a simple coding procedure
to define this pattern. The code works by listing the names of the cells in the
order you would like them to appear from left to right. You can specify that a
cell repeats by adding a plus sign after it, and you can group cells together using
parentheses. FigureĀ 5.27 shows an example of a floor sequence in one of the
facade styles that is included in the InfraWorks installation.
